the only thing you could do is to send him a gift card, which you can purchase and directly send to him from the steam shop.. so he could buy himself the prime status with your money =)

Yes you can do it, click on csgo then purchase for friend, select your friend, then there you have it.

You can if you gift it when you purchase it. Can either purchase it or level up to 21 and you get prime then as well. Not sure if it increases trust factor if you purchase.

Just go to the CS:GO website on steam. Scroll down to buy prime. Click on it, press buy for a friend.

Or tell your mate to put a 3 cent skin on the market for the amount required plus steam tax. You buy it. He gets money for prime.
