Is StatTrack farming not allowed in CS:GO?

Me and my friends were talking about CS:GO and came into conversation about if StatTrack farming is actually allowed in csgo so I wanted to post this here to ask people about it.

Well CS:GO has this item called StatTrack swaptool on the store for 0,9€ which allows you to transfer kills from weapon to another StatTrack weapon so doesnt that kind lose its meaning if people can just farm the kills for free?

It does. There is no reward in stattrack. It simply shows you how many kills you got with that specific weapon

Its more for urself. Most people dont take others stattrak counts very serious anyway from my experience.

True. StatTrack kills don't really mean much especially if people can farm them.
