GTX 1660 TI, i7-9750H 2.60GHz getting low fps (100 fps)
so I have a ROG Strix Scar III with a GTX 1660 TI and an i7-9750H 2.60GHz and I still get very low fps, around 100/140. I believe that with these specs you should get a lot more fps but I don't, anyone can help me?

laptops are not made for gaming, there is no comparision between a pc gpu and a laptop gpu same works for processors . Buy a pc if u want more than 120 fps or spend 3000+euros on a gaming laptop(god knows why would anyone do that)

If I were you I would uninstall my graphic drivers with DDU and install them again. I usually had those problems with drivers.

Those specs are more than capable of getting around 200fps, Defo something wrong.
Try reinstalling GPU drivers, verifying files, check nvidia settings or even try fresh install.
Running cs in "fullscreen" rather than "windowed fullscreen" should give you a boost too.

im not into intels cuz i have amd for my whole life (im not here to complain which is better) but 2.60 ghz is not much in my opinion. but hey, 100-140 fps is still good especially if you have 60hz screen

That cpu isn't good. Not even in top 100 of all cpus. Also laptops aren't made for gaming.

My guess is still that you run csgo on your on board Intel® UHD-Grafik 630 processor. You should be able to change that in the intel control panel.

Lmao i get 120fps with 1070 and celeron g3930

Edit: go on nvidea control panel: configure surround, physx
Select physx settings and put it on 1660ti
Or go to manage 3D settings, scroll down to OpenGL rendering gpu and put it on 1660ti
And dont forget on power management put it on high performance
