How does "Stattrak Swap Tool" works?

Hello everyone i know this is a basic and repetitive question but none of my research from the internet answers it, so here it is.


1) Does Stattrak Swap Tool has to be the same type of gun?

2) Does Stattrak Swap Tool has to be the same exterior of a gun or not, as long as it's the same type of gun? (I.E: ST AWP battle-scarred <swap to> ST AWP factory new)

3) Does Stattrak Swap Tool has to be in the same skins?

4) Does Stattrak Swap Tool has to be in same rarity of the gun?


Please share me an example. thanks!



Copy this Formula Example with the correct answer:
Stattrak AWP (Skin: Same? or Any?), (Exterior: Same? or Any?) (Rarity: Same? or Any?)

for EXAMPLE


ak stattrak elite build got > 500 stattrak kills

you want to switch those kills to

ak aquamarine revenge stattrak >

you use the tool ingame to swap those 500 kills between both aks >

now the aquamarine ak does have the 500 kills, instead of the elite build

awp FN kills can be swapped with awp BS kills

It can only be used on same weapon. The rest (rarity, float, price, collection, etc) are irrelevant.
