Just ask for other players to queue up with you in the forum, find a team on reddit or whatever i know and you will get out of mge. Or just try out Faceit and try to make friends there.
So as someone who was Global for about 3 years (before and after the rank update), I gotta disagree here somewhat.
20 kills per game isn't special with a decent team. If your team can hold their weight (15 kills averagely) then you really aren't playing well enough to go into another rank if you are solo Q'ing.
20 kills averagely if your team has one other player around 20, and the rest are sub 10, yeah your problem is randoms.
How do I solve this problem (I solo Q mostly as well)?
I play maps I can solo carry on, or maps I can retake vs most teams. IE D2 and Inferno. I can solo win T side Inferno with good plays out of boiler/mid, and D2 with a single flash long I can change the outcome of rounds.
So OP, my suggestion is:
1) Play maps only that you can solo change the outcome of a game to a win. So reccomended Inferno and Dust2. Sure for some that is boring, but if you want to win, that's what you have to do. No other maps are sided more towards pug tactics and impact frags than those two maps.
2) Try to use forums/reddit/this thread to meet people to play in a party with who can at least make calls, and do not throw rounds.
I know your pain though. I average about 30 kills per game now (Rank decayed to DMG from Global) and the rest of my teams soloQ normally have 1 guy with 20 frags, 1 around 10, and 2 below 10. It makes the games hard to win, unless I play to my strengths which is peeking and winning fights in aggressive angles on T side.
