The end of CSGO?

I understand that csgo is at its highest player count in a while; I'm not trying to say its dead, but I think it is dying slowly. I've seen this games hard times in 2015 and 2018, and even early 2013. But I truly believe that this could be the final end of the game. With the release of Valorant coming out in a week or so, I have a feeling this game is doomed. Pro players are already transferring over to Valorant; personally I think this could be the end of counter strike (This game has had many rough times before). Unless Valve updates their game to source 2 and 128 tick servers, I feel like this could be the end. I recently had started to notice that yet again, like back in 2015-2016, veterans and older players are really starting to dislike this game. I think this game would've be way better off if it didn't follow battle royal trend (danger zone update in 2018-2019, and I feel like this is now Valve's time to update their game to what people want. The creators of cs really need to be more creative in this time for the game to really be able to live. I would like to know a few others opinion on this. People may argue that the game already has died or has been dying for a while, but I really now think the game is coming to an end. Does anyone else share the same opinion?

The game have been somewhat the same for 20+ years and still have a healthy playerbase.

What was the last game that killed it? Overwatch?

With this change, Valve effectively accepted that the game was dead and gave the reigns over to cheaters. Before you had to pay 12bucks for an account, after it was just free. VAC bans you over a long period of time(of if a cheater is that dumb to use outdated cheats), and an account is made in less than 10 minutes, free to cheat again at your leisure.
