Deagle Not Always A 1 Tap?

The last game I played on dust 2 I was watching mid with a deagle. when i fired upto short I tagged someone with a headshot for 98dmg I have never had this happen to me before and am very confused is this normal?

Deagle is weird as hell, for most people it always hits even when they're running, while im standing still and crounched and i fire slowly, still miss lol (basically the bullet says f.ck you and goes either left or right from the crosshair)

Deagle has very big damage falloff with distance, so for example on DD2 pit to A won't make 1shot kill to head even without going through box.

It likely clipped the edge of the wall/ledge.

If it was in 1 hit, then it MUST be a wallbang shot. There is just no other way to hit a deagle hs for 98 dmg.

It's definitely true if the enemy is wearing a helmet. The Deagle 1 shot vs helmet is about 2200 units away which is around dust2 pit to a site. Damage fall off is always a thing in CS games.

2.025 vs helmet, 2.193 without. Still imposible to be the case on mid to short range.

No, he's right. Pit to goose is not a one shot to the head with the deagle, considering the person is full health with armor of course.

In generell the Deagle is rigged man. So dont worry about it and as Dacaar said its in generell not an onetap weapon only in close combat situations or a lucky Headshot
