The only really need to change some indepth settings is to maximize your fps at low/mid-range pc's cutting down on graphic details and cpu usage.
Where can I find the "Standard One"? I know back in the CS:S days there were a zillion commands and it seemed that there was no real agreement on what people should or shouldn't use. I was hoping now that it has been some time and with CS:Go there is some consistency or like you said, a "Standard One" that 90% of people are using. Thanks!
for config: cl_disablehtmlmotd 0, cl_disablefreezecam 1, cl_freezecampanel_position_dynamic 0
then set up your video options to your liking (really high if you´re just a casual gamer) very low if you´re competitive player (more effects disturbs your visuality (blurry, sandstorms, disturbing shiny surfaces etc) i will recommend removing motion-blur regardless.

some good vids from a youtuber on the subject.
Carry on.
I usually get 60+ frames per second and I play on laptop
Actually I built my computer and I have been building computers for well over 20 years. Just because I don't feel like throwing money out the window on a $1,200 dollar 1080 titan x gpu doesn't mean it isn't a "gaming " Computer. I spend a little more on the Mobo and CPU to future proof the entire system. I can always buy a new gpu and slap it in anytime when the prices drop. My last computer I just upgraded was 8 years old and was the I7 920 running at 4.2 GHZ on air. Yes that was the BEST CPU at that time as well. So before you make silly comments please be sure you actually understand what "future proofing" your pc means. Why would I put an I3 6100 cpu into a gaming computer so my ram only runs at 2133 mhz. Or why do I want an I5 that doesn't support Hypethreading? Keep in mind CS GO is not my main game either. I now have a z170 with 3200+ mhz ram with the best processor. That will last me another 8 years and all I have to do is once every couple years buy a new graphics cards. I guess getting over 350 FPS in CS GO (all high settings maxed) with "only" a 1060 gtx 6 GB is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gaming computer. My mistake. Glad I have learned so much from you. Thank you.
Lol. That's actually really good. My only concern is 1: If hr has a good cooling system and 2: He has a good CPU so that it won't bottleneck.
