Monitor Shuts Off After a Flashbang
Hello everyone

For some reason, some time last week a weird error started occurring.

Basically, when I get a flashbang my monitor turns black, for a bout 1.5/2 seconds, and then switches back on. The sounds works etc.

The screen also goes black by the end of the rounds. Also at random times his happens.

Nothing like this happens with any other game.

My monitor is a BenQ XL2411Z, running at 120Hz.
My Graphics card is an AMD Radeon RX 480,

I have the latest graphics drivers, and all the newest software for my monitor.

I tried running my monitor at 100 HZ, 122 Hz, and 144 Hz. The issue persist on all.

Has anyone had anything similar/ know how to solve this?

That's really weird.... Might be a defect. Try checking it in at a software repair place or something.

does the monitor actually turn off? as in you have to power it back on?

Ive only seen this once before and it was a monitor psu fault caused by running the refresh rate too high. The flash temp overloads it till the psu can reset.

Also make sure all the cables are fully pushed in.

Ive had my screen turn on and off like urs but it was random. my fix was making sure the wire that connects the screen to ur pc is secured on the moniter mine would wiggle out a little then go back in causing the screen to turn on and off.

I got it this August, this only started happening this week.
The weird thing is, that this happens only in CS:GO. I tried playing Wolfesntein: New Order, the Witcher 3, and this doesnt happen.

It goes black, like it loses the input signal. It powers on automatically after the 1.5 second
