Hosting your own CS:GO server for friends to play on.
Is it possible for me to take an old pc with a Quad Core CPU and 8Gb of ram, and make a CS:GO server out of it? I recently found a practice map on the Workshop that is pretty nice for training, and i was wondering if i could run my own server with that map installed. If i can, what should i need to do to the pc and what should i install to be capable of running a server.

Yeah, search for "How to make CS:GO server Steam CMD" to create a server, about "Port forward" to make it acessible to your friends, you can skip this step if you are going to use hamachi, then "Workshop file extract" to get the map from workshop, you can skip this step if you already have the .bsp file (the map file).
