for some reason cs go is giving me waaay lower elo than normal

well, the thing is, I played 1.6 A LOT in the moment, thousands of hours to be exact.. so I have quite a bit of experience...
this week I started to play cs go again, before this (1 or 2 years ago) I played like 20 rankeds, so the game gave me a rank (I dont remember what rank) and then leave the game.
the thing is, I started to play again, and after steamrolling a team and winning I got silver 1 (LUL)
I though, "this is going to be easy, in a few matches Im going to be ranked up to silver 3 atleast or something", well, it didnt happen. I have been played for 8 matches now, with MASSIVE quantities of mvp and almost perfect kda... (http://steamcommunity.com/id/cache5/screenshot/854972794051336886)

(the only match that I didnt win was because I tried to kill a bot in a round, and valve kiked me.. not going to do that never again, lol)

people have told to me that they rank up in 2 or 3 really good wins, like the one obove this...
I dont know whats happening... is there like an mmr that limits your maximum elo per round or something? and in the last two I got mm with people with higher elo, silver 3 and silver 4, easy win again but no rank up. can you guys help me so I can understand my situation?

Rank decay has plummeted your rank to an unforseeable depth of Silver 1; such is the effect of disappearing for 2 years. izakoo did a "silver to global" thing where someone donated a silver 1 account, it took him 30+ roflstomp games to get promoted. It's theorized that the account was deranked, thereby convicing the ranking system that the player is, in fact, absolutely horrible at the game, and essentially assuring it that it belongs in Silver 1...this is vaguely the same effect that's causing you to be in Silver 1.

People don't rank up "in 2 or 3 good wins", this is entirely anecdotal and ripped out of any context that gives it substance. Nobody knows how long it'll take you to start getting promotions, if you want it to be faster then queue with someone that's a higher rank than you. Performing against higher ranked players arguably improves your rank faster.
