I run cs go on my main with 100 fps, and my smurf 300

Hello

I have this problem, and its that when I play CS GO on my main Im lagging so much. I used to be running at 300 fps, but now im running with like 80-150 fps. I just played CSGO with my normal fps (300) and then I went on a holiday in two weeks and when I came back i was lagging so much, like I am down to the 80-150 fps as said before. I downloaded the newest Gforce driver there was available two times, and i verified my game files like four times, and deleted the game and downloadet it again like 3-4 times, and nothing seems to work. I did not chance anything with my game, I just stopped playing in two weeks.


My PC specs are these, so you can see that im not supposed to run this small amount of fps.
And I know im not supposed to, as i said before I normally run with 300 but then after two weeks i run with 100 fps.

16 GB Ram
Intel core I-7 6700HQ

Please help me, cant play with this lag.

To be fair, that PC should get more. I can get 500+ if I lower settings and I have an older CPU than what he has.

I know, Im playing on a Gaming laptop, and I know i should have been buying or building a desctop pc.

Yes, 80-150 is lag when you are used to be playing with 300 fps :)

Firstly, there's been a few posts/comments on Reddit saying that unsubscribing from a large (100+) number of Workshop items fixed their FPS stutters, but it's pretty anecdotal and pretty specific. Secondly, uninstall Razer Synapse if you have it; it's screwed with csgo for years and just causes a mess. Thirdly, m_rawinput 1, 0 rarely causes FPS stutters and it never hurts to test. Fourthly, snd_updateaudiocache & snd_rebuildaudiocache (in that order) will reload your client's sound, has been known to fix many fps issues. Fifthly, update everything.

If that doesn't do it, I would outright delete the video and config (including autoexec; make a new one) files and restart fresh. You'll also want to make sure you don't have cloud config storage enabled ingame or Steam. Throw only binds into a new autoexec and copy your settings over in halves; check your FPS after the first half, copy the rest, then check your FPS again. This ensures your autoexec/cvars aren't causing the FPS issues.

It's worth noting you should have all launch options removed.

At this stage, it's likely worth ensuring you don't have conflicting software installed and repair the Steam service.

Failing that, uninstall, manually delete the SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive folder, reinstall, and then copy only your binds to start, essentially giving you a default new everything. If you still have bad FPS on your main, it's definitely not the csgo client that's doing it.

LOL, just because you have a smurf, it dosent mean im trolling, for an example i use my smurf to play with my lower ranked friends.

So u still get 300 fps on smurf ? Because after these few last updates i have seen people complaining about fps drop on forum,that might be the reason ?

Yes I have the same fps on my smurf as i was used to but not my main, after another game file verification i managed to get my normal fps back on my main. But what you say might be true.

Thanks for the help, my fps came back after another game file verification, or thats just what it seems to have happened.

Im having the same problem..... I get 250 frames on my main but when I get on smurf i literally can't do anything bc I have 40 frames

That's cause your main account has more stuff in your inventory than your smurf. Either that or you have alot of unused workshop maps that are still in the folder when you unsub.
