FPS drop close to player models

[RUMP]

Im facing fps drops when facing player models after the 12 mb update today.
my usual fps was around 120 and now it goes down to 50 as mentioned close to other player models.
is it just me?

100% tbh, if you look at the update notes they messed with the shaders

the settings are low but the shadows are open, I had the fps drop, do you have the same problem?

seems like they are forcing the settings, so cant change it till a new update comes out

I believe this is the worst update on cs go's history I was playing this game just fine this morning, but then the update updated itself and what happened is after the update my game totally crashes : starting with the character module which is corrupted, I can't use buy menu, shaders high even though in my own choice and setting I keep them low for high fps, fps drop dramatically And I won't throw my device. if I turn 180° game crashes, glowing weapons etc the examples are endless we need a quick fix that makes cs go playable at least like before the update....

I disabled the "increase player contrast" and it stopped dropping fps for me .

same here, at first glance i didnt even notice anything (high fps in main menu etc.) then i went into aim bots and DM for warmup and noticed i was getting 15-40 fps. ♥♥♥♥ sucks cause im most likely gonna get deranked if they dont update anytime soon
