Horizontal vertical lines when i change the resolution!!
Okay, so when i change the resolution in CS:GO, i get black screen and in the top of the screen some small green horizontal lines for a few seconds. When i change the resolution in another game and i don't have this issue. So my question is: Is this normal? My monitor/cable/gpu is broken?

Video Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uk8OQ2YUliY&feature=youtu.be

P.S: Sometimes this doesn't happening

Also i tried:
-unplugged my cable from my monitor and from my gpu and plugged in again
-updated my gpu drivers to the latest version

My PC Specs:
CPU:AMD RYZEN 5 1600
GPU:NVIDIA GTX 1050TI
RAM:16 GB RAM

Hey there, I tried this as well a long time ago, after my friend dared me to try 4:3 stretched. The thing is yes, I got black bars but I fixed it. The solution to this will alter the resolution for other apps, so let's say you alt + tab to Google Chrome, the chrome tab will shrink in order to adjust to your computer's resolution. However, if you don't mind the shrinking, do these following steps to fix the black bars:

1: Go to your desktop, right click and click on "Intel Graphics Settings" (Or just search up "Intel Graphics Control Panel" on your search bar at the bottom of your windows).

2: Open it, then click "Display".

3: After that, click on "Resolution" and select the resolution you wanna play on (If you are planning on going 4:3 stretched, I recommend 1400 x 1050).

4: After that click on "Scale Full Image" at the bottom of the Intel Control Panel.

5: Refresh your CS:GO.

Hope this helps.
Yeah this would fix it but its pretty annoying it would be always stretched when you're used to 1920x1080. I mean you could always just put your screen stretched and it would fix the issue but when you play other games, non-stretched it gets pretty annoying.
Another solution:
1. right click on desktop and acces nvidia control panel
2. Go to adjust desktop size and position
3. select second option (scaling:full-screen)
4. make sure it says perfrom scaling on: display(not on gpu)
5. If this didn't fix it try to restore your nvidia settings to default(this fixed it for my friend)

Hope this helps!

This shouldn't be a problem caused by any hardware, it could be caused by drivers but you updated them. I would recommend looking at your launch options if you maybe have -disable_d3d9ex this could cause this problem and a question are you using another resolution in game then your monitor's resolution?

I am using 1024x768 and my monitor native resolution is 1920x1080. And no i don't have "-disable_d3d9ex" on my launch options. The only thing that i have in launch options is "-novid"

I don't have issues with black bars, my game is already stretched.
