Closet Cheaters
I don't think the community actually realizes just how many people in prime MM are closeting. This happens in all ranks and predominately in good TF (bad TF has more semi-rage/rage than closet).

Closet cheaters are much harder to detect and are even harder the higher ranking you go typically. These are people who play with low-fov aim correction, sometimes triggerbot, and typically don't use or rarely toggle walls/ESP, and already have a good understanding of the game without cheats.

Reasons they don't get caught:
  • They are using paid cheats which typically are designed solely for legit cheating and not HvH thus having smaller userbases which makes VAC detection less likely.
  • Most of these paid cheats are rarely detected (once every few years) and most of the cheaters are not playing on high risk accounts anyway. So cheat dev will update cheat, they get a new account, and good for another few years. IF they get caught in a VAC wave
  • Overwatch is useless against them for several reasons. The low-tickrate demos in OW make it harder to spot aim assistance especially with low-fov aimbots designed for "legit" play. They have normal crosshair placement and don't follow people blatantly through walls like idiots, if they use walls/ESP at all. If for some reason they need to go semi-blatant (i.e. clutch round/close game) they only do it for a single round making the likelihood of OW low.

This is only covering strictly Valve MM, there are people cheating in leagues also using very private cheats paying upwards of hundreds of dollars a month for said cheats because they are able to bypass league AC.

In conclusion I'd say arguably that closet cheaters are worse than ragehackers because they usually stick to non-prime and are banned quickly (latest server crash stuff aside). If I had to guess I'd estimate that 2-4 people in any given MM game regardless of high trust/rank are closet cheating to some extent.

We need to make MM great again. :MAGAHat:

I find that unlikely given the market size for closet cheats.

This. There are almost no cheaters in good trust but people like OP think everyone who is better than them is a cheater u_u very sad

You seriously believe that nobody in high trust are closeting? I'd argue that there are MORE of them in high trust because they rarely get called out.

I'm fairly certain I'm not allowed to name them but if you were to lookup the information yourself you'll find that most of them haven't been detected in a few years.

I seriously believe you don't have enough experience. And you're obviously trying to get attention with your account name.

The question I have is why? Why do you need attention?

Ironic coming from someone who is trying to flex PC specs on their profile like anyone cares.

Skeet never got detected. Aim ware didn't get detected since 2017. Only vac waves were from features detections/exploit detections.

probably because they arent cheating.

Maybe a more reason for your conclusion? So you're saying 10k or so banned a month is just another conspiracy theory?
