csgo exchange scam site?

When i tried to login to csgo exchange, i was met with this message from Steam:

"The URL you are attempting to log in to has been blocked by our moderators and staff. This site may be engaged in phishing, scamming, spamming, or delivering malware."

EDIT: I've contacted Steam support and requested/suggested that they add sticker damage % into the inspect screen in game. Probably won't happen, but there's no harm in asking.

EDIT: Everyone I've talked to about this is experiencing the same problem. It IS the official CSGO Exchange site and not one of the fakes. It's still possible to log into the site by clicking the "continue anyway" option below the warning (the site itself is still up and running). However, JUST IN CASE they can take your Steam login name and password, you can either use an alternate Steam account without any valuables, or you can log in with your regular account and change your password as soon as you're done checking whatever you needed to check. Since there aren't any downloads or item deposit/trades, i think Steam ID/password is the only thing that's potentially at risk. For those saying it's 100% safe, go ahead, but i prefer to use one of the aforementioned counter measures just to be on the safe side. Completely disregarding a warning from Steam that they went out of their way to provide is a bit too dangerous IMO. There are some genius level hackers out there, IMO it's possible for someone to replicate the Steam login page AND log into steam AND record your login name and password. Just because the page says they use some encrypted method for the login doesn't mean it's true! A genius hacker of that calibre won't put in the time and effort for just any scam... but if they can succeed in the way I've described, it's worth millions upon millions in profit. A hacker with a 160+ IQ could probably do things most of us can't even imagine.

I was always nervous about sites like csgo exchange and opskins. I guess Steam is the only 100% secure place to enter account name and password after all. Just to be on the safe side, i'm changing my password.

Hmmm, i just finished changing my password. I won't be logging into any sites outside Steam after this, no matter how secure the community claims it is. Better safe than sorry.

also im pretty sure the website that caused the ban is csgo--exchange.de because some scammer sent me a link to that site which was clearly a phishing site

You can say what you want, but I'm not clicking that link (EDIT: if that's the "continue anyway" link, i still don't want to click it, i'm not logging into csgo exchange again). Also, it IS the official csgo exchange website that's not working (EDIT: well, being blocked by Steam anyway, which is warning enough for me), not the other one you mention.

Hey DUKE! :) Yeah, it's a mystery. But the main issue for me is the sticker damage checking function that csgo exchange has. Without that crucial info, serious Souvenir collectors won't be able to trade with confidence. It'll bring on an age of darkness and uncertainty for us... personally, i won't be making any trades or purchases (involving souvenirs) unless i know for certain that all stickers are pristine.

its funny to see these people saying "im never logging in again". they cant take your Steam login data. You're logging in with the steam openID system. they cant get your stuff from that. the reason for the Notification about phishing is because of the marketplace on it.

Weird, it's blocked for me too. And it is the real site since I've had it bookmarked for the past 2-3 years.

No more using that site then I guess.

i legit just went on it, it says the site is insecure but it worked for me to go on it, ♥♥♥♥ for me i guess ;o_o
