CS GO keeps minimizing randomly

I was fighting this problem until today and finally able to fix it, so I thought it would be nice to share my solution with the community here because none of the solutions on the Internet worked for me.

The problem was when I launch cs go it used to keep minimizing right after getting to the main menu. I was able to fix it temporarily just by switching to cs go several times (random number of tries = pure luck). But while in game, everything is ok unless I don't switch to desktop manually.

Solution: The only clue I got from forums was that it must be some process or notification that keeps poping up for less than a second thus not letting us notice the process and kill it.
So, what I did was to kill explorer.exe from task manager and exit all apps on frontpage other than cs go to make sure that there is only cs go on alt+tab section. I launched the game and it suddenly switched to black screen (instead of empty desktop), so I pressed alt+tab and saw that there is one more app running but it cannot be opened thus causing black screen. It was RAVCpl64.exe (realtek hp audio manager) in my case. Now I have the name of the processor that causes the issue so I disabled it from the startup menu and everything went well.

It could be a different process for you so check it out.

For non-experienced windows users, you can run explorer.exe on task manager after you seem to be done.

I think I found a fix, this worked for me. In my Avast Pro AV I removed CSGO from my do not disturb list, even though it was checked I removed it anyway and this seems to be working so far.

try to disable steam overlay for cs go. this seems to works for me, even if i can't no more use shift+tab or just look at players profiles

1) Right-click on the csgo.exe > go to Properties.
Go to the compatibility option.
Check the 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' box> hit Apply.

2) Exclude full steam folder or only csgo folder from scanning in Avast/AVG or other anti-virus program.

I am playing on 4:3 1920x1440 so it worked for me without setting my csgo to fullscreen windowed.

Most likely its a third party program. so you need to do a clean boot.
1st, open task manager and deactivate any program that is opening itself when booting.
2nd, go to msconfig (type in start searchbox to open) and go to services tab, then hide all microsoft services and disable the rest. restart and see if csgo is still minimizing.
In my case i couldnt disable avast antivirus so i deinstalled it for the time i tried if that would solve it and it actually did. so maybe try playing without antivirus first and if its still minimizing follow the steps above.
