a general rule for trading sites is if you have to deposit skins, its generally a scam. You will see legit ones as they do the trading directly through steam, so the only place for error would be you not checking the offer before you accept. It sucks that you got scammed, but as someone said above, you basically donated your items to them.
EDIT: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ has essentially become a storm of bots that comment scam links whenever you post a trade. Stay safe.
