Lagging All Of A Sudden.
So I have been playing csgo quite a lot lately and it has never had any problems until now.

It did before I set all my graphics to their lowest settings and lowered my resolution though.

Now all of a sudden, everything is lagging all over the place, and I haven't been able to find a good solution. The game is unplayable.(Yes I've looked through every possible tutorial and done all of their steps.) I even re-installed CSGO but that didn't work.

I also should mention I'm a mac user running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. Do I need to upgrade to Mac OS Sierra or would that make it worse?

I really need help with this. Anybody out there wanna lend me a hand?

I'm having the same issue. Was running perfectly fine at high settings until this week and on the lowest it's still unplayable.

How long is your PC left on?
Consider a reset.
If ping is an issue, turn up max bandwidth in the game settings(too high will be like DDOSing yourself)
Consider turning off the new sound mode.
If all else fails,
Computer upgrade.

If it isn't your ping, it's most likely FPS lag, what frames are you getting while running the game?

Currently, I, not the creator, have been getting 5 frames for half of a second, then 60 for the other half. This loop repeats for a long time. Also, sometimes at the very beginning of a round, the game freezes for the next minute or two.

After the new DUST 2 update, I started lagging.

I found out that my issue is a harddrive issue. All of our issues are probably because of harddrive. If ping and FPS is fine and you stutter, then you need to get a new harddrive. My recommendation is to look for a computer repair shop and ask them what the problem is anyway though.

Computer upgrade? It´s just an update issue man... they have to fix this as quick as possible, or they will lose lots of players
