Is there overwatch in wingman?
I probably have over 100 hours just on the lake wingman map. I know every wallbang spot, etc. I predict where people go and just shoot. My friend got banned like that once. Will gold nova ones who probably never played the map and dont understand info that well vote to ban me, or if they even overwatch wingman? EDIT: one game I planted, sprayed through my smoke and got a guy. Obviously told I'm wallhacking.

Well i have overwatch and i sometimes get overwatch cases for wingman lake and oftenly it is obvious if the Suspect is blatant Walling or Aiming i not had so far a case where the player was legit when it comes to this one, on other wingman maps it did happen to be that the suspect didn't do anything bad/wrong.

Even if both players on the enemy team report you it needs more than 2 players to send you to overwatch, but well Vacnet may collect data on how you play/aim and may decide to make it a overwatch case even if people did not necessarly reported you a lot.

So my team has to report me too? (more than two people you said) that is incredibly stupid..

No one knows how it works outside Valve. All you'll hear is anecdotal evidence and speculation.

Based on my own anecdotal evidence of doing Overwatch and keeping an eye on the suspect's profile afterwards, I'd say you most likely won't get banned, as I often see even obvious cheaters get away with it simply because they only toggled for the last 3 rounds or because they used a cheat that's only slightly less obvious than a full blown high FOV aimbot, while still remaining well within the realm of rage cheating.

The two reports do not necessarily come from same match.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
