I cannot launch CS:GO on windows 10
Hi,

So I recently updated my old Windows 8.1 to a newer version and since then i can't launch CS:GO. It just happens only with this game because for example Dota2, Tomb Raider or even Apex works great. I tried to delete and download again, tried files verification, launching with older Windows version compatibility and other methods from google but nothing helped me so far. Any ideas bois?

Oh boi, was it a laptop or a desktop.
Some computers are more optimised for 8.1.
I hate those ones.

It is a desktop. i5 4440 + r9 290

Well I don't think the R9 would have issues like that.

R7 and lower yea, try updating the motherboard bios, most likely a update for it exists for Windows 10.
Then reinstall your video card.

If it doesn't do anything, make backups of your games, and reset PC. Doing a upgrade doesn't always work, fresh install of 10 works better.

Well BIOS update and "reinstalling video card" didnt work. I dont want to fresh install Windows 10 so I'll wait for more advices in case that one of them might be the golden one. Thanks.

Since its a new install try turning stuff off.

Check if you have .NET installed

Screenshot wont help much. I just try to launch CS, there goes that steam window "Preparing to launch CS:GO", my profile goes green which means Im currently playing but nothing happens with the screen and then my profile goes blue. In the task manager i can't find csgo process so the game is not even starting.

Weird... l had that problem with cs 1.6 it was going to green on my profile then it go to blue.
But when it not opening that's sound like the game crash.
