Fake csgo tournament scam
Not 100% if this is a scam but this guy wanted me to be on his team for this tournament, and it had a sign in through steam, I tried signing in but it wouldn't work once I entered the mobile code, so I am wondering if I entered my information would it give me a keylogger? because I am not sure what to do.

What you should do
Never enter your password for a second time once chrome have save it for use on official steam websites.

Check the log in history here.

Most importantly
Pray that Fnatic wins 3-0 so that I can get coin upgrade. :erune:

what is the side named though
they usually delete that sights after you've logged in, I fell for this scam a few days ago but I was smart enough to notice so I changed my password
This happened to me today. 2 guys posing as WePlay associates inviting me to a showmatch. One of the rules is the skins used have to be provided by a sponsor, so I was asked to trade my skins to another account. In the mean time I was asked to register to WePlay website (which afterwards I realised was fake - https://esports-teams.com/login.php) We were all on discord, on a fake WePlay Esport server, and they requested I shared my screen to assist in the process. After multiple failed trade offers I knew something was wrong, then they told me to watch their shared screen. I was in shock to see them selling my items in my inventory. So I immediately revoked access to all devices and changed my password. Thankfully they only sold an 8p P250 skin. I tracked there location to Moscow from my log in history.

I have since contacted WePlay to see if they can remove this website which bears their logo so nobody can go through what I did. Thankfully after being scammed of my whole inventory before I was quick to revoke access and removed the steam API key to prevent any more wrongdoings.

The CSGO community is mostly full of great people, but its a shame that there are this small percentage whose mission is to steal your account and sell your inventory.
Dude, why do you have to play in a tournament? Are you S1mple? Is illy another esports player? As soon as you have skins from $ 100 or a knife, then they invite you to play a tournament, and then they steal your account altogether, don't believe it. Pure experiment, I hid the inventory for 1 month, the result: no one was added, no one wrote. I open my inventory and put my knife and skins from $ 50 on display, The result is: in 20 minutes, you are already adding friends, and play tournaments for me ..... draw conclusions!!!!!
