Before we start, I must to emphasize that I don't mean to provoke any kind of arguments and flame. And what I'm about to say represents the majority of what I have experienced. And I am not a native english speaker, so i'd have a few spelling/grammatical errors scattered around this thread.

I am a veteran in CSGO. I have been into the game 2-3 years ago and i have made lots of friends who i have been queuing together with. Csgo has been what i considered to be a fun game, despite the rare occasions that i found hackers in the other team. I enjoyed playing even in solo q, where the team is actually helpful and all, or should i say "professionals with standards". Tho, irl seemed to got the better of me and i ultimately left csgo for a year.

When i return to csgo, all of my friends were gone. And what used to be a game which i would instantly get into after completing school ( I'm on college now ) now turned into a game which i am very reluctant to play now. Since most of my friends were dead, I have been solo q-ing to play the csgo i thought was the same as last time, perhaps to find a friend or two and to start over.

What has csgo turned out to be?

9 out of 10 times In my games I was fitted into a toxic, disruptive team. People taunted me and called me noob for doing the slightest mistake. And to make matters worse, these kind of people were like 3 or 2 group of fiends who spoke their native language ( they insult me in english). As an asian player, i have to face hundreds of these group of absolutely discouraging groups of random asian races that will spew the worst of BS to me.

One thing about me is that : I can be hella good or hella bad, and there's no where in between. Back in my days I pretty much play like a goddess because my own teamates were supportive and polite. But now? I'm just terrible because of the amount of tilt im having when a teammate of mine dissed me for doing the simplest mistake : such as dying.

The best example is what happened during the last match i'm playing. I solo q because.. well... all of my friends were dead. I got grouped with a member of FOUR that speaks in this language I have no idea what, which I'm assuming to be chinese ( Look. Im a half japanese half russian but trust me on this : The only language i know is English and I'm a defective asian person ). I have absolutely no idea whatever the hell they're talking about untill they start to give me LATE callouts in english. Here's what happen. In mirage It was a 4v1 and i'm the terrorist. Bomb is dropped at B short and i got nothing but a deagle. I make my way through mid, killing the person at nest. During these times, they were all speaking in their language. I manage to kill another person that's coming from connector and i got the ak which is nearby the bomb. Killing the third person (he made a sound at market), I got to plant the bomb ASAP, which i did. then this one squeaker was yelling "VAN" and I flicked to the van, but to no avail. When i inevitably die, the squeaker called me a noob and that i'm so ♥♥♥♥ in the game. Here's one fact you all need to know : I'm top fragging. This cause me to go into a frenzy of irrational anger, but i let it go. i bought a scout and i went to a. But you know what? That piece of crap's still calling me names. And so i shot him with the scout, WHICH I MISSED. And he laughed even harder. And his mates start to laugh at me and called me noob too.

My tilt was absolutely horrendous My kills remained as 27 from that particular round, till the match was concluded with a draw. I ended up snapped to high hell after being taunted on for about 9 more rounds after that failed 4v1 clutch and after that 9 round I muted them and taunting them when THEY screw up And when we actually draw the match, I got instant votekicked with all four of my teammates instantly pressed f1 on me.

In a nutshell, I am deeply upset with my current csgo experience. It's literally hell for me. I used to be an SMFC, but then i dropped to MG, which i dropped to gn now. I wouldn't want to be labeled as the category of people who blamed the terrible community ruining the game. But when you have been stumbling into toxic and disruptive teammates 9 our of 10 times in a game and you dont even have any friends you can make because everybody you have been playing with is literally fifty shades of toxic, I just can't help but to simply hate csgo's community. From toxic people to my own new friend reported my pfp (because im using ecchi), I just am very upset to the point that admittedly, the internet has brought me depression. More accurately, steam has brought me depression. Csgo has brought me depression.

I don't want to talk about my irl self if you do ask me. But one thing you need to know : I got a life. Thanks.

There's no such thing as derailing here when I have the worse case problem of trolls, toxic and demotivational person like you, and them warding trolls, toxic and demotivational people like you is exactly what this thread is all about : dealing with peoples like you. Now, can we have a moderator to delet this guy from steam?

As for everybody else, yeah i think i have found a few answers to my problem.

1. I should just stop csgo for now
2. When i do play csgo, I should consider muting people from the beginning if they show any signs of toxicity and other negativity regarding that ( I'll even mute the non-english speakers)
3. I should start to not give two craps towards peoples such as our troll here in this very thread.
4. I should buy other games. But hey, i'm poor as hell with my level 10, so i guess I can't do anything. I want Subnautica ;-;

But still, I hope that this thread serves a purpose to everybody else, to remind them that how the peoples have ruined the community. I am not blaming about the community ( I know it's contraversial to what i have said back then, but trust me, i don't mean it. I really never blamed the community ), but I am blaming the people, who were just so selfish and unaware of what the others might be facing. Those kind of peoples rule the world, and the same can be said with these kind of games. Csgo is a team game, which what makes it beautiful, and that reason alone is why i play csgo three years ago. But when "team" was mixed with "selfish", you get disruptive griefers and/or individuals and groups alike which simply doesn't care about the other's goods and pours salt into the wounds of the bads. If you're wondering why there is so little good people out there, this is the reason why. We are humans after all.

In steam, I got backstabbed numerous of times. I got scammed by a person who forced me to trade ( I am new that time and he persuaded me. Long story short, I made a trade which i deeply regret a few weeks later ), people who simply put me into depression by branding the word "noob" to my head. But the question is, is it the community that we should be blaming? No. It's the people. Selfish selfish people who did that just for their own satisfaction and good. Which is sad. And to make it even sadder, There is nothing we can do about it. Even the most competent mods here can't settle it. They're just overwhelmingly many scattered around here, and they're probably laughing at my thread at this very moment.

There's only that four answers, which will benefit me rather than anybody else. But a I said, I hope we all have learnt a thing or two from this thread. My last words is : Good friends are like stars in the night sky. You may not be able to reach for them, but you know they're there, tho they are very scarce. And when you're fond with one, keep them close. Perhaps leaving for a whole year without a notice is my first and biggest problem that lead me to this.

There is actually a simple fix to all of this, head to the add a friend forum and find friends who just want to play the game for fun, and won't be toxic, if you find a friend that is toxic, unfriend them and find another.
A full team of friends is what you want, solo qué gives you random people, so avoid that.

Problem solved, don't torture yourself by solo queing anymore.

We've got a regular discord running and we're playing almost every night, most times full queue. Fully English speaking, high trust factors, all prime, good teamwork and communication. We'll make the game like what you experienced before.

My story is that i'm 33 and started playing in my early twenties. I mainly played with friends on LAN parties but well, times comes and my friends do not play anymore.

However, I really enjoyed CSGO MM and getting ranks n' stuff.

A week ago I faced a LE with a 10 year old high value profile who was playing with aimassist... since then I'm pretty done with this game.

I started to smurf but you know what? Games non-prime are pure hell. If you play 10 games you will have at least 10 leavers, 3 griefers and at least 7 matches are filled with cheaters. maybe 4 of them spin-bots.

It does not make rational sense to continue playing this game. You only have three options:

- non-prime and face blatant cheaters
- prime and face premium cheats
- 3rd party Anti-Cheat that really also feels 3rd party with own launcher, own ranks etc etc etc

Quit the game. Play something else that is not filled with ♥♥♥♥
