Competitive Ban: Wingman accidental teamkill. A little bit of code would fix this.
Just experienced my first ever ban.
Was partied up with a friend, we started a wingman game on Inferno.
We saved on round 2, and both rushed right, I went to shoot the guy and my friend strafed in front. This resulted in me accidentaly shooting him in the head. Which apparently means I should be kicked from the game and banned from competitive play for 30 minutes.
I think there needs to be a little bit of code to enable or disable this sort of rubbish ban when playing with friends.

it is cooldown not ban.. also you need to shoot or cause team damage more than just once to get kicked off from match UNLESS you TK right at start of round then you get instant cooldown.

Anyways cooldowns are 100% own fault or Internet issues based..

just dont shoot teammates and keep playing only on stable connection to avoid cooldowns on future...

You need gain 300 damage or 3 kills to get banned. You was banned correct, don't do it again

This^ you don't get kicked for just 1 accidental kill.

Also forgot to mention that i was considered to be "in the starting zone" which was probably the main reason this happened.
Why the first point of contact between teams is still considered the starting zone is anyone's guess.
Glad these trolls really had some good reasoning to respond with. Useless forum.

Sounds like you are new to the game that’s all

If you can’t follow simple rules like everyone else then maybe csgo isn’t the right game for you

I was mostly annoyed because it was only one bullet at head height.
As i stated earlier, neither of us bought armour.

But you are right, it probably doesn't happen once i clock about 5000 hours like everyone that's responded. Time to quit my job, and get good i guess.
