Can't see other people's skins

So I can see my own weapon skins just fine but I cannot see others. Anyone happen to have a guess as to what the issue might be?

Yes they have skins equipped but it just shows the default skin

To be honest I would like to have such option to not see non-default skins

Apparently I'm the second one in the history of csgo to have this bug. Happened after I played faceit and it told me to delete materials and models folders and verify game because of the new sv_pure servers. Did that and then I haven't seen other people's weapon skins. I only see my own. Or if someone has the same skin as I do I guess.

Tried googling this for quite a long time and didn't find any real help. Valve help?

Yeah I have never been able to get most other people's skins to show, even after verifying game files. Sorry I can't be of more help but I can say that the bug has persisted across updates to the game.

it's a rendering issue I Think, sometimes it doesn't show my own skin lol

same problem dude, but on public servers. just a standart models with name of skin

I think I may have found a solution, try this command on your console or add it to your config if its not an autoconfig:
mat_queue_mode 2
Restart the game,go on public server and see it.

thanks, for attention man. My problem has fixed, maybe Valve fixed this. But I will try ur methode, if this problem will be in future
