csgo reset my lvl?

so yesterday i leveledup to lvl 40 and today i logged in and it says i'm lvl 1
and i didn't see it untill i played a game where it also said i was lvl 1
pls help

Yes, a player with a service medal has no restrictions whatsoever to the CS:GO matchmaking, same as being level 39.

You can still play comp with level reset

No you will not, it is a weird system. They should just make milestones and let you level up as much as you can throughout the year imo.

is a service medal at lvl 40 and when u claim it they reset your lvl

reach lv40 gives you a medal, and if you reach it again in the same years your medal change color.

Well it is basically like this. The service medals are the milestones and this system is not really hard to get. Why should you start as nonprime over and over again? Makes literally no sense.
