-freq launch option

hi i got a new 144 hz monitor and know theres a command -refresh 144 but i also saw people using -freq 144 . what does -freq actually do?

Its like Buses, they are "frequently" late 144 x's a day

(Freq)uently - Update.

Someone will still argue with that.
But like late buses, i won't be here

You don't have to put ANY command for the game to launch and run automatically at 144hz.

When in doubt, open the console while in a server and type "mat_info"
That should tell you for certain whether you're actually playing at 144hz.
