Why pros dont using 1440x1080 instead of 1280x960 or 1024x768???

I was using 1280x960 for while and understood that all this resolutions are the same but 1440x1080 have the best quality. I saw that niko changed 11xxX8xx(same like others) res to 1280x960.

SO Why pros dont using 1440x1080 instead of 1280x960 or 1024x768???
Smaller = better aim? or what? i was trying to play on 1024x768 , i was shooting as always but i was feeling uncomfortable cause bad texture

mainly just preference as many people played before the higher resolutions were available

yea bro i play on the lowest settings and lowest res and it looks like a rubiks cube but its so easy to hit head taps because you just have to look for 1 moving pixel

i dont know) i was trying to playing on 1024 for 2-4 days and dont feel that something has changed
