Why called an AWP and not an AWM ?
It's a olive colored magnum firing .338 not a black colored police model firing .308

awp is different than awm.. awm is non licensed name and AWP is licensed

both are rifles made by Accuracy international, why would one be licensed and not the other- and if that were the case, why would the licensed one be the one used in game?

Older counter-strike changed the names of some weapons because of name licensing, but they also do that- change the name. Is 'AWM' too hard for people to say, I don't believe so; it's faster than AW-P with a long emphasis on the P

not many AK-47s were made, most rifles called that were AKMs and similar
but the difference between the AWM and the AWP are larger
in theory, the G3 and the SCAR-H should be one shot kills as well, then
unless the slight increase in velocity from a locked bolt is that much more energy

the Model 29 was called 'the .44 magnum' in Dirty Harry and that is basically a synonym for the handgun, even though its a general term for the cartridge it fires. That's the power of letting popular nicknames influence research.
The difference here is that you can call an AWM an AWP- but it's like calling a Lamborghini a Ferrari, or whatever they are called in Vice City- they are not the same rifle or car

AWP or AWM doesn't matter, its the same gun. The "P" that some people refer to it as is because the full name of the actual gun is "Arctic Warfare Magnum/Police" The "/Police" is referred to the actual model of the Arctic Warfare rifle. If anyone wants to read up on it, just search for it.

Bunny hop requires alterations, so no- I do not bunny hop. Don't make presumptions.
Let me drop a .300 blackout round into my .223 and duck for cover. Words matter.
You should get a higher thresh hold for what makes you cringe, it's beneath you.

You and your one year old account, I've been playing CSGO since 2012 and CS when it was on disc. I think I have an appreciation for how the game works. So quick to think people are trolling and baiting, and quick to throw the word 'cringe out'- is very projecting behavior.

I've fired many of the weapons in counter-strike in IRL, full auto. I'm not complaining about how unrealistic the spray patterns are. I'm talking about names and how inconsistent the name changes to the weapons have been. Some are changed with the times, some aren't.
