CSGO community server: stuck on downloading .nav map file when joining?

I have a community CSGO server I just set up and I am trying to join it on a seperate computer (on the same network). I have a workshop map on the server that I am subscribed to on the computer I am joining with, so I already have the map downloaded.
Still, CSGO makes me download it from the server for some reason lol, and I download the .bsp just fine but once it gets to the .nav file, it just sits and 0 and doesn't progress.

I don't have any FastDL set up, i'm thinking that might be the problem?

set up a fastDL server and put all your server's maps and nav files in it. I found a tutorial on youtube to set up a CS 1.6 FastDL server for free and the process is basically the same. Let me know if you need help

Without FastDL set up everyone suffers, set one up right away if you can.

You can just download the map and install it manual or setup a fast dl that will download everything in the fastdl better but you dont need to but .nav files in your fastdl

basically you need to make a FastDL server.
to do this find a free web host website like 000webhost.com
make a FTP server and then in that ftp server in the public html folder, make a folder called csgo, and in the csgo folder make a folder named maps
drop all of your map files in the maps folder and in your server.cfg put the following line:
sv_downloadurl "insert your url here"
where i wrote "insert url here", put your url directory to your csgo folder in the quote marks.
for example: sv_downloadurl "http://epiccsgoserver.com/csgo"
you do not need to do /public_html/csgo, because it will automatically look in the public_html folder, thats why at the end of my URL i just put /csgo.

Please help i have this on 1 map stuck on some kind of player model nothing has worked so far its a Nuke Halloween map

yo man you have to set up a fastDL server. this is what downloads all of the custom content to the client joining your server. you can find a tutorial for how to do it on youtube or a forum.
