Then reduce your sens by 0.5 step by step until you reach your desired feeling.
That process could take some time.
Test with the Awp as well. Do some flicks, into all directions (yes up and down as well).
800 dpi isnt bad though. Dpi means "dots per inch" so the more dpi the more precise your mouse sensor is.
You could stay at 800 and lower the ingame sens. Which would equate to the same thing basically.
i use 800 / 1.1 sens. Tried going lower with it to 400 but i felt like i have to constantly swing my arm. Rule of thumb is: If you need more than 20/25 cm on your mousepad to do a full 180, you should higher your dpi. and re-adjust your sens.
in the end its all just preference.
When I started CSGO I was around the same sense as you started.
Over a week time I gradually decreased and used bot maps to get used to lower sense.
Set back to 800 x 4, play half an hour bots, then go to 800 x 3 and play half an hour bots, and so on untill your reach 800 x 1.5, then set it to 400 x 3 and go even lower, but make your steps 0.2 (0.1) instead of 1 untill you reach somewhere between 400 x 1.5 and 400 x 2.
* I'm playing now at 400 x 1.4
Just delay gratification and take in the temporary pain - like they say, no pain, no gain.
I'm trying to get used to almost the same sens (400 x 1.55)
Wanted to ask how your arm movement works now that you're using that low of a sens? Is my arm supposed to be going all over the place? If for example there's an enemy to the right and you need to swipe, do you readjust to the middle of the mousepad again or did you just practice shooting and controlling for recoil while the arm is tilted from the swipe?
