better performance that leverages the GPU and multicore setups more efficiently
improved visuals in terms of lights, reflections and textures.
improved physics and hit registration.
The panorama UI is already Source 2. I'm just excited that we might get a full transition into it.
Some people are scared that this will kill off the low spec gamers portion of the player base. But good looking shooter games can run fine on lower spec'ed machines. Just look at Apex Legends.
