I just got "Disconnected by VAC: You cannot play on secure servers"

Same here. I follow instructions: Go to Steam> Right click on CSGO> Property> Local Files> Verify Files. It didn't work. Was about to install and reinstall but I think is a bigger issue that is affecting a lot of us.

there are guides to fix it somewhere. you arent vac banned if it doesnt show up on your profile

Happened with me too on mac! Did Verify Files and restarted the system. Was able to play for like 5mins. Then again this error. So reinstalled CSGO. able to play again for 5mins and then again this error! WTF is happening!

Close Steam and run it as an Administrator (for Win users).

Except it doesn’t work this time. I restarted computer, verified files but still doesn't work. As others said, there is something wrong on the valve side
