The answer is yes skin changers can trigger a ban..

What you really need to ask yourself is do you know what else may be bundled inside the program. It could have malware or some other unwanted hijack....

Also what I have read on these forums is that some skin changers also come bundled with cheats... These cheats have a high chance of already being flagged by VAC.

I think it's certainly a "in for a penny, in for a pound" mentality. If you're already doing VAC-banned things, might as well do ALL the VAC no-nos
