CSGO requires updating before playing but it won't update...

It's been freaking 5 days w/o CSGO...

I've tried manual updates and auto updates. I've tried clearing the download cache and changing the server location.

What's wrong??

well, any problems with updates I used to have was because my mum forgot to pay the internet bill so, ig just make sure ur internet is fine? cause my provider used to do this thing where you could use the internet, but some sites you couldn't reach, there would be glitches and my csgo would freak out and steam wouldn't let me play it

LoL, How would I check if internet is fine? I just assumed since I can post here that it's fine...

Repair steam - ehhh? I know it's up to date... but I'm not sure how to repair steam...
Cleared download cache - check x2
run steam as admin - check
verify csgo game files - 0% complete after 15 mins (on previous try)

yo bro I will save your life. Tryna find one of your friend who got updated and log in to their account by YOUR COMPUTER. CSGO will automatically update on your computer and then log out from your mate's account and login back again to your account and NOW YOU CAN PLAY!
