Is selling a skin through bank transfer really secure?
I was recently approached by someone who wanted my knife. He says he was willing to send me the agreed upon price of the knife through bank transfer first, and then I would trade him the knife afterwards. He seemed pretty nice and we talked over discord and showed me his inventory and trade history. Imo he seems way too trusting but if I were to go ahead with the deal, would there be any possibilty of me getting scammed? I know that with paypal you could issue a chargeback so I was wonder If there are any precautions I should take if I were to go ahead with the deal to avoid any scams?

In my country i cant refund if i pay someone, i can refund company's tho. For example my phone bill (not sure why i ever would do it)

Ask for steam funds or BC instead and let him go first.

its not. he can refund the money by talking to his bank that it wasnt him who made the purchase.
he is most likely a scammer. the guys who scam on a regular bases, are professionals.. theyre doing everything to make a potential victim trust them.

I heard if I were to wait a few days and for the money to be visible in my account there's no way that they can issue a refund no?

Why don't you just hand over your knife for free to someone? Jesus, how daft can you be.
just tell him you'll send the transfer in 90 days.

This guy is a real knuckle head. Sometimes I think valve should implement an IQ test before anyone is allowed to own knives.

If he had the money, he would buy it from bit skins or something. Don't fall for it!

P.S. They might have someone in the fraud department they know that can pass the claim quicker or something, you never know. All I know is if the transfer is reported as fraudulent, you will lose your money and your skin.
