CSGO stuck at 75hz 4:3 stretched

I was not having this problem yesterday. Just woke up, turned on my pc, started up csgo
and now im stuck at 75hz. I was playing at 120hz with a hdmi cable on a 144hz monitor ( because my DP cable broke )

Yes, AA is off
and yes i'm playing above 120 fps. I tried googling for a solution but none of them worked so far.

I also tried Reinstalling the game but it didn't work.

+I checked for sneaky windows updates are there's nothing.

1. it feels like 60-75hz
2. type mat_info in ur console and it will show the res you're playing at +hz, in my case Display mode : 1280 x 1024 @75Hz (BGRX8888)

alright i was just making sure its actually showing 75hz in mat info and its not just you "feeling" 75hz,

if you go to nvidia control panel do you have it set to use 120hz?
also on desktop when you customize the desktop, do you have it set to 120hz?
also in intel hd panel, do you have it set to 120hz?

Yes, i have it set to 120hz in nvidia's control panel, intel's and windows.

ok, did you try to reset your monitor perhaps? mine is called memory reset or something like that, try that, if all else fails try to use system restore point,

Yeap, tried resetting my monitor and it didn't work
and yes, its capped at 75 with 16:9 res.

and there's nothing to restore because my system didn't update yesterday.
