Sensitivity vs scoped sensitivity difference

hi started playing again after i little break but i need to increase my sensitivity but my scoped sensitivity is absolutely fine so i want to know what the difference between them is so i can change my scoped sensitivity so it stays the same once i increase the normal sens. Still trying to find what sens feels right.

The normal sens is for everything out of a scoped weapon (while zoomed in) and the zoomed/scoped sensitivity is self explanatory; it's your sensitivity while zoomed in.

The zoom sensitivity setting is literally a ratio

zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse

Where a setting of

zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse = "1"

is for 4:3, and a setting of

zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse "0.818933027098955175"

is for 16:9. (Or

zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse = "0.82842712474619"

for the Aug/SG553 on 16:9.)

You may change these as you see fit, but they are a ratio dependant on your base sensitivity; and the zoom FoV of the scope; and are only valid for the first zoom level, with the second zoom level of the AWP having a discrepancy of about 4%.

so if i calculate the scoped sens for 1.7 normal sens as 0.82 of 1.7 and then translate it to the 2.0 that will give me the right sens for scoped

so my preferred scoped sens is 1.394 and the scoped sens for 2.0 is 1.64 so that means that i need to set it to 0.85 on the slider in settings is that right
