GTX 1060 6GB - 60Hz or 144Hz?

Hello. Sorry but I have a question... I play games like Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Rocket League, GTA V and The Witcher 3. My HW specifications are Intel Core i7-4790K, GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6G, Kingston 16GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9 HyperX Savage Series. Is it better to have a 60Hz monitor or 144Hz? I'm a beginner so I'm sorry. Thank you :)

144 Hz is better for everything in the future it will be the new 60 Hz standard.

Ok I know it, but what about The Witcher 3? :D I playing this game on 60-90 FPS... it's problem with 144Hz monitor?

No... And the monitor can always go back to 60 Hz if it causes problems in the Witcher.

You for sure would want a 144hz monitor, because less demanding games like CS:GO will probably run in the 250-300 fps range and you'll need a monitor can handle it.

i got 144hz and got an gtx 970gb and got 50 fps in gta, with high settings and some vision mods(naturalvision, reshade and enb)

Ok, so GTA V with 50 FPS is better on 144Hz or 60Hz? ;)
