Why dont more pros use the sg and the aug?

I mean, the sg is shooting faster than the ak and i think it hava a more reliable spray patterna as well. It also have a scope wich can make it easier to hold some angles while bomb is planted. The aug have the ability to do a one shot headshot at close range and also have a scope wich is some scenarios can be good at the ct side... soooo am i wrong or why is the pros for the mostly using m4 and ak instead, or is that just because they are used to them?

Some do and the number is slowly climbing.

The reason they use the AK and M4 more is due to the fact they used to cost a lot less and now they are used to them so changing is hard.

M4 and AK weapons are the most balanced weapons that can be used in pretty much every situation except very long ranges (where you woud need an awp). AUG and SG are long range weapons. Both AUG and SG have a worse spray pattern when zoomed out and when zoomed in, the scope you see takes part of the screen and the scope could be blocking the player from seeing a possible enemy. You can see everything with an M4 and AK. You should ask them yourself. And the ones who prefer M4 and AK over AUG and SG will probably say the same things I did.

From what I've seen they're starting to use them more & more
Honestly, what pros use usually isn't about the power of the gun, it's about what their playstyle is. That's why some R&G pros use the MAC-10 despite it's fairly low power. The MAC-10 act's as a good run & gun which is what those players need
The pros that use AK-47s & M4A1s probably are use to those guns & feel more comfortable using them for their playstyle
Same reason that you or I use the guns we use

Not to mention the incredible hate that Aug/SG 553 users get simply for using a gun that was included in the game
Every COMP match I play in I get sh*t on for using scoped guns, and I'm sure the lash back from the opposite teams fans would be absolutely awful, so it'd be bad for PR as well (in my opinion)

AUG recoil compensation is essentially identical to M4A4. The SG553 spray pattern vs the AK-47 spray pattern is really personal preference. However both scoped rifles also feature a lower recoil variance, both while scoped and unscoped, meaning that your bullet accuracy is actually higher even on an unscoped AUG/SG553, and phenomenally higher when scoped.

The only people who get advantage over the cost of AUG and SG lowering are cheaters. Of course the ones who cheat will take the gun with more damage and better armor penetration, because they don't have to worry about anything because their cheats do everything for them.

Lets see here. 2:43. Stewie2k, who is said to be a god level player, starts spraying with the AUG and gets an assist.

Now 4:35, some random kazakhstan player killing one guy, then doing a 180 turn, going back again and then continuing to kill 3 other players with snapons mixed with sluggish crosshair movements. Would have a laugh if he was caught in 2-3 years.

These are the same idiotic people who don't have control over themselves and think they must buy a ~50-100$ skin no matter what, because they don't know where they could put their money to better use in their life and then you see a thread in the forum "Which skin looks better?". They are buying a skin and asking other people which skin looks better... If you were buying a skin for yourself, you would be buying a skin that you liked, not the skin that most of the people liked so you could try to make other people jealous that you have spent ~50-100$ dollars on something that doesn't exist. Brainwashed zombies. No wonder there is an ad about gambling in every CSGO video. Making kids go mental.

The only good things about the AUG and SG are the armor penetration damage and the one shot headshot. The rest are just drawbacks.

No, thats simply not true.

The SG has the highest DPS in the game and the AUG has higher DPS than the M4 and is the most accuracte rifle that isnt a sniper when unscoped and when scoped its the most accurate gun in the game, the SG is also not too far behind.

Go look at the Astralis Liquid game and watch the multi kill entries that were made with the SG and look at the hold offs that were made with the AUG.

Alos Stewie2K isnt a god level player at all, hes not even the best in NA let alone the world.

From mid to a short on Dust 2 the AK will miss 50% of its shots for the head.
