Report a translation problem
- Go into your local\cfg folder:
\Steam\userdata\*STEAMACCNUMMER*\730\local\cfg
and check your video.txt file. It has to NOT to be read only.

Reduce shadow and / or antialiasing if you still have fps problems.
I don't even know what is up with my CSGO anymore. This is even more problematic than all the other games I have.
Uhm, that sounds like your pc is really really slow, because even before you had such problems.
Actually you can go my way vise versa:
- Set the settings you want to use. As I said my settings are the optimum settings, most competitive/pro player use them because it gives you the best fps and at the same time a good looking. What settings do you want to use?
- Copy the settings from your video config (the settings you wanna use) into your videodefault.txt. Save booth .txt-files and make them read-only.
- After that booth videofiles are locked with the same settings (those you want) and the game can't change the settings because they're read only.
