But....
Who would want 4:3 stretched?
Hey man, sorry to revive this thread, I was just on my way through looking for a quick fix to another problem I'm currently having.
Just thought I would let you know that things like vsync, gsync, and freesync add a certain degree of delay between when you press a button, and the action happens on your screen. This might be a couple of ms or more depending on whether you use double or triple buffer. For a game like CSGO, even on a 60hz monitor, more FPS=less ms response time, ultimately meaning quicker reaction times due to that.
Again, sorry to revive this thread, I just have this weird OCD where I had to answer it or it'd annoy me xD
This worked for me.. I literally tried everything before this, including restarting PC 100s of times as those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ youtuber said so..
that post was almost 2 years ago
I remember an ex work colleague from Lithuania who would always harp on about modifying his mouse drivers to aid in his obsessive csgo escapades and would berate me for wanting my game to look good with high res and all options turned to the max. He would use 640/480 and insist on CRT monitor only.
Sad sad little man he was.
