New CSGO skin scam using facebook

So i got scammed by a new method. Let me shared this method with you so u wont get scammed.
It starts by a steamaccount contacting you. He or she tells you they are interested in your skins.
They use a well made steam account and even fake reps on facebook.
In my case he wanted to buy a knife.

The scam:

A guy contacted me. He said he was interested in my knife.
We talked trhough chat and at first i didnt trust it. Then he showed me proof of his stream. He showed me his paypal transactions and his trades on stream. I still didnt trust it. Then he gave me his facebook account and he told me he would post something on a group on facebook. The group is https://www.facebook.com/groups/TradingOnSteam/?fref=nf
It has over 30.000 members and it looked legit. He posted a post saying stuff like: Im trading with this guy on steam. He doesnt trust it. What can you tell about me?
So people replied to his post saying stuff like`` +rep, trusted `` and that i could trust the guy.
So i was convinced and we made the deal that he would give me a steamwallet code that he bought on g2a. He showed me the transaction on his paypal and he showed me part of the code.
It all looked very legit. I traded him the knife first and then he gave me the code. The code was invalid. I contacted the group owner but he ignored me.

The account:

The account i got scammed by was a high level account. He had lots of reps and he had skins such as knifes in his inventory. He also had above 4000 market transactions. So the account in my opion looked legit. In the end it was a scammer.

Research:

I know for a fact this is a scam that is used on others. I am still in the group and everyday i see simular posts used in my scam. The people in the post ask if they can be trusted. Then immediately would people reply with ``+rep, trusted``. Sometimes they tag the facebook account of the victim or they link the steam account. I have contacted a decent amount of accounts and i talked to them. I told them it was a scam and they shouldnt trust it. Sometimes i was too late and they told me they were scammed.

So guys dont trust this well made scam!!!!!

If you wanna know if its a scam or not quickly then just check if the group is public or private.

it is private and ALSO, they have to accept the posts!!! it is and all the way scam.
anyway, i didnt fall in scam bc i researched a lot. they almost scam a guy 4K gloves but i talked to him.

Never go first if you don't receive anything in the same trade.. Not even if a guy is "trusted" The only time you're clear to do it is on gambling sites that people actually use and skin marketplaces

idk, i sold an item to a guy from a group on fb and i went first. ofc it was only $30 box so i took the risk but there was np.

Taking him down won't make a diffrence. These kind of people have 10 new accounts set up and ready in case one gets taken down

Another smart lesson is to simply forget everything about skins.

It would have sense to spend money on them if they gave you some kind of advantage but they don't, they're wasted money and I regret every euro I've spent in skins.

I understand maybe spending some cents for a bit of customisation but 14€ just for pixels is crazy. Waste of money
