Awp corner aim training
Hello guys. I am an awper and pretty decent at hitting my shots, eccept enemys peak a corner. Then i most likely flick away and miss. As i shouldnt miss these shots as a main awp i wanted to ask you, if there is a good training map in the workshop or if you have any other tips for me.
Thanks in advice :D

The best way to train that is playing deathmatch.

Try not to rely on flicks. One of my basic awp training is scanning targets with the crosshair

I play dm a lot and it really helps me improving my aim, but not dealing with my problem

That is gonna be hard because i pretty much flick with every weapon. But thanks, i will try it out :D
And what do you mean with scan? Like aiming at them without shooting and following them with the crosshair?

When enemies jiggle peek there is not much you can do beside giving info that someone is there and change your position + nade him. Even when you have insane reaction time you can't hit those shots that often and when they baited your shot they can run over you.

So what you need is changing your playstyle and get more experience. For that you should play dm and holding angles there more often and play against high skilled players too (faceit etc.).

You also don't really need to flick when holding angles. You just press mouse 1 when someone is peeking and then you fall back.

Just clicking mouse one... That sounds so easy xD but sometimes i get wide peaked and if i just click mouse one i will most likely miss cuz my reactions are not insane xD

Sure i read your description and went on your main acc but its on private and it could be pretty much the same profile ;). And nowadays you cant really trust anybody in the internet :/ sad but true. But even thought thank you for the help. I will try to use it as good as i can :))

There are two ways of holding an angle with an awp:
- Close corner -> So when someone is jigglepeeking or do just a quick peek you can hit him
- Further away from corner -> So when someone is widepeeking you can kill him

You've to adapt the gameplay/movement of the enemies and do one of those playstyles depending on what enemies do most of the time. The "further away from corner" angle holding thingy always depends on your reaction time. If you've a bad reaction time you aim further away from the corner.

My main acc is private, yes. The second not. Because I don't play on it since 2005 and I just use it from time to time since CSGO for playing with lower ranked friends (around mge-lem level).

Yes. Try the aimbotz workshop and set the bots to running and scan for headshots with a scout

My main has 10 times more hours than this account and countless more from CS beta 5 to 1.6. This is my reverse smurf where I ended up ranking much higher than my mainhahahaha
