Why are people toxic in CS:GO?
Hi guys today I will be talking about behaviour in CS:GO. there are good players, bad players and ignorant players. as you know ignorant players just ignore, good players try to help and the bad players just trash talk.

As we all know CS:GO is an hyperactive game which makes people aggressive but people put the power of aggressiveness into other things but not in the gameplay. Mostly these guys are kids or people who are less educated about how to behave in public.

Things to note -
* is just a game has to be played with joy and fun.
* nothing can be gained by showing anger on other people.
* be friendly with your team and opponent.
* no Unity no teamwork.
* irritation can lead to loss of accuracy.
* don't let your ego takeover you.

There many more things to be noted.

Please feel free to post your opinion.

Negative posts will be 🚩 flagged as rude 👿

I have a few theories about that but my favourite one is their parents failed to raise them right. I learned how to interact with others even if things dont go as I want. Thats common sense that nobody will give 150% if someone is flaming him but they feel like they are doing the right thing and thats the part where my theorie gets into this. If you teach kids how to deal with a lose they will probably not be toxic. I mean if someone would behave like this in real life I and a lot of players out there would show him what happens if you behave like this. Nobody would accept someone talking to you like that without breaking his nose at least. But they are secured by the mighty internet and finally they can be how they really are and what could have been prevented by the parents if they would have had more focus on his manners instead of something else

When CS is a mod for half life, internet is slow and people are playing in LAN. It is easily hours of fun. No toxic, no quarrels. The smurfs are actually respected because everyone gets just 1 game server. People stood behind them and watch them play. Good players are recognised and respected. Casual players had a lot of fun with swimming pool maps and dust1.

Why are people toxic in CSGO only today? and not in the past?

It's all because of a new expectation : Online Reputation.

When things go online, people want to win for their online reputation. From the forums, the game Ranks and everything else online. They need to make a name and fame for themselves. They expect to win. They don't wish to lose. It has became unacceptable to lose.

When they don't get kills, they got angry and kick the top fragger. When team is losing, they kick their teammates. When there is a smurf, they raged. No more "opps haha you got me there." No! I am a celebrity online! I must never lose! You guys are all cheaters! It all make sense now isn't it?

Another example, when I comment about "watching GE replays to improve a game" on the forum, there will be users who bash me, asking what is my rank, bashing my account's reputation. It's all toxic yet again. No games involved. Just online, and just a fight for reputation.

It is a game, yes. Everyone understands that.

But for "Never a need to build an Online Reputation", who actually understand it? I think Not many. Got a demote and it feels like a failure, but who really cares? It goes outside CSGO too. People make facebook and tweets. Taking food pictures everyday. Doing crazy things just hope to be accepted. To get Likes and reps. Insulting people in the game. Insulting people on the forum. To prove that one is always right, one is the best.

It is crazy when nobody realize it's an online reputation problem.

Giving advices to other people when you are Silver Elite when you didn't even follow your own advice in the first place and tell other people to go kill themselves in other forums is also crazy.

Please, share more of your knowledge.

Stop using meme words such as "toxic". Just say people are a**holes and you can't handle it. Isn't your own ego playing a role making this thread? Grow up and just learn to dealt it mentally. It is no different than the real world outside. People are going to be people.

In all honestly, I wish to make friends with you. But I know it's going to be hard. Your independent thoughts and backbone is attractive.

thats a valid point . But again: bad parents. Thats exactly their job to prevent you from this and lead you to a mindset which will open doors in life instead of closing them without any chance to go back.
But I like that thought about reputation. They try to impress people they dont know with skill they often dont have either to...yeah why? i guess because they failed socialising in real life and try to get that somehow with these kind of actions.

I am not talking about Smurfs, reputation, ranks or top fragger. This topic is on behavior.

Sorry but you sound like a top fragger who never got a chance to have reputation.

Feel free to post on how people can improve in behavior.

Thats maybe sometimes the problem. but I would make any bet that you know that this toxic behavior is just wrong but maybe you want to blame others ( most of the other player who accept and follow the unwritten rules of interacting with other people who are sick of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who think they are god because you are sometimes that guy?
I dont mean this to offend you. If im wrong just tell me but for me it looks like this. Even if she gives bad advise or is making the same mistakes...who cares? at least she tries to help you instead of blaming you for mistakes you didnt even made.
I can deal with those guys but I just dont want to. If they want to be part of any kind of community they have to adjust their behavior to fit in. Its easy like that. The only reason they get away with it is the fact that nobody is close enough to beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of them. Would you accept it if we play soccer and I blame you non stop for any little thing thats wrong and critisize every little step you take??? i dont think so. after a while I would get what I deserve because thats at least a language that anyone understands. But keep in mind they dont even try to ♥♥♥♥ with the good players they just pick the ones who struggle anyways and make them their victim. Nice move...these guys go to kindergarden to fight the kids too i guess

This doesnt mean you shouldnt tell someone if he's made a mistake. Do it. But like you learned in a constructive way and if you are half as good as you feel you can tell him for sure how he can avoid this mistake right? Problem solved. But thats to easy

I can't use bad word on public discussion. I am already educated to not use bad language.

wow.... i feel like i am talking and you are writting. this is good discussion.

i feel people are less friendly because they need to prove others that "they are the best" instead of "enjoying the game".
