My review on Faceit CS GO.

Hello, since i dont want anyone to make the same mistake as me im going to post a review about the CS GO platform on Faceit.

There is only 2 positives on playing it:
1. Its 128 tickrate ranked.
2. You get strong opponents alot quicker than on MM or in other words if in matchmaking you start to play against the best of the best at LE + on Faceit your going to start playing with the stronger part of the community at around level 5.
A common misconception about faceit is that faceit players are better than MM players. This is untrue, the only difference between MM and Faceit ranked ladder is players are not correctly evaluated based on skill and placed into levels, or in other words faceit level 5 to 10 is basicaly the top players you will encounter, there is no going above that unless your executing advanced strats as a 5 man lobby(not 4 smokes A).

During my 200 something games on faceit ive decided the ladder system is stupidly flawed. No matter how good you are you are going to win little over 50% of your games, which makes it a luck grind fest if u get a decent team or not, which in faceit is less than likely thanks to all the 5 man boosting premades that charge 400 euro per boost (no idea who would pay that but they do), not to mention all the cheaters running rampant (Will admit alot less cheaters than MM by a LARGE margin).

I myself have and do claim that CS GO is one of the only if not THE only game where u can fairly 1vs5 and carry yourself, but this is in the best of the worst scenario where someone doesnt leave round 1, doesnt have 200 ping, doesnt go full toxic mod noncooperative or your not matched against 3 level 1's queing with 2 level 9 or basicaly people that do advanced strats for a living to make 100 euro a month, and boy does it feel stupid to expect their 0.9KDA to perform as well as your teammate with 0.9KDA, no they will top frag. Basicaly Faceit uses a really good algorythm to balance teams, and i will give them that, teams in the normal games indeed are times more balanced than MM, but when theres a booster on a premade team behind that 0.9KDA your basicaly against 5GE with a team with a little bit of everything from MGE to GE because faceit doesnt match equaly skilled players of the same skill together in a match, it matches equally skilled teams into a match.

There is no carrying yourself in CS GO if someone gives the enemy the bomb, is telling away your position after he dies, is screaming in your ear forcing u to mute him thus denying you info. All solid combination of all these plus more happen consistently atleast every 3rd game. Faceit community isnt entitled, nor do they think they are the best like most say, my personal opinion is that those are THE most clueless people in the CS GO community that cant see what the hells going on and at one point decided to play on faceit but since they are so clueless they continued to play it even after its stupid and thats why its literaly THE most toxic community this game has, because its literaly the most stupid people to play the game. Anyone that has half a brain would not try to play faceit if their trying to play competitive for ladder, but sabotage the team if they project any offense someone might or might not have done to them.

The only time you should be playing Faceit is if you and your team want to get into the competitive scene.

If you dont care about all these negatives or basicaly are a masochist claiming you play it for fun or that it gives you a better competitive enviroment, carry on.

If you are a try hard competitive player that has played deathmatch and default CS since it was a mod and no longer get the rush unless your climbing the ladder to be the best of the best by climbing the ranks... dont do this to yourself, really.

Just a bump for those poor saps that might decide to try Faceit over ANY other platform, even MM is better. Really.

I've found the FACEIT platform to be deeply disappointing. Despite their substantial earnings, it's astonishing that they can't manage to keep cheaters off their servers.

It’s a massive letdown to encounter so many cheaters. FACEIT’s inability to address this issue undermines the integrity of competitive gaming and the experience of honest players. They need to step up their game and show they actually care about the community that supports them. Until then, I can't recommend FACEIT to any serious gamer.
