Nade Practice: Making smoke fade faster
I saw n0thing's Nade for Newbs videos and whenever he gets the smoke wrong he toggles something to make it fade out faster.
What's the console command for it and can I bind it?

I found a way to bind only one key and still be able to use it:

alias "+clearsmoke" "host_timescale 18"; alias "-clearsmoke" "host_timescale 1"; bind "KEY" "+clearsmoke"

Put it in a your practice config and you can just hold down the assigned key and the time scale will increase and when you release, the time scale goes back to normal.

@daboink This does not actually clear the smoke, it still sticks for 15 "real" seconds.

Did you hold the key instead of tap it?
Did you replace the "KEY" with a button key?

I think he meant that the smoke will still take 15 seconds to disappear according to the server time, since increasing the timescale doesn't necessarily make the smoke shorter, rather just speeding up the server so that it takes less real world time.

It works guys but you have to restart you server to make it work properly!!!!

alias "+clearsmoke" "host_framerate 30"; alias "-clearsmoke" "host_framerate 0"; bind "KEY" "+clearsmoke"

this one is way better since it doesn't lag your server

This is worth gold! Thanks. I just found out, that actually "host_framerate 1" makes it the quickest. So the smoke disappears even faster than with 30.

Found this yesterday for CS2.

bind KEY “ent_fire smokegrenade_projectile kill;ent_fire molotov_projectile kill;stopsound”

Dont know if it works with moli but the 'ent_fire smokegrenade_projectill kill' works on smoke grenade. The command removes it immediately no longer doing the time spent thing.

Make sure to turn on sv_cheats 1
