Microphone not working
As the title says, my microphone stopped working for some reason. Without changing anything, I can't speak ingame anymore. Neither in a match nor in lobby. I tried voice_loopback 1 and I'm only hearing rustling. When I test it in Steam itself (or Discord or Teamspeak) it's working perfectly. Somehow, I got into the old microphone menu, you could access in the Scaleform, when clicking "Mic Setup" (but I never got there anymore), but this menu is not detecting any voice, when I'm speaking.
If someone has an idea to fix that, what is not trying voice_enable 1 and voice_modeenable 1, let me know.
Thanks

Up! Same problem to me. It suddenly stopped working while playing. It works in Steam Overlay or in other apps or Windows but not in MM, DM, Casual.

SOLVED, csgo is messing with microphones, even if you disabled everyone (except the one you use) it still mess with it, you have ti unplug EVERY device with a mic (headset, htc vive, etc etc) nad then plug them back, you should be able to talk now, this worked for me, good luck

SOLVED as well. I just plugged my jack from SteelSeries headphones into SteelSeries USB Audio Card and it works perfectly now.

SOLVED. Firstly, I unplugged my microphone cables from my PC and plugged them in again.
If the Asus Realtek Interface is popping up, make sure to select everything correctly.
Then I started experimenting with the advanced settings of the microphone in the Windows Settings. (If you don't know where in Win10: Right click the speaker in the bottom right -> Sounds -> Microphone -> Select your device -> Right Click -> Properties -> Advanced)
I tried to change the quality and tested it ingame and it worked. To refresh the mic when you changed settings when you are ingame, just go to Settings -> Audio -> Audio Output Configuration -> Select anything else -> Select what you used before.
I hope this will helps for those who tried everything else without success.
