are rapid fire mice bannable?

ordered a mouse online and it just arrived, didn't realise till just now that it has an alternative M1 rapid fire button.

never wanted one but am keen to test it out, is this bannable? (through VAC or just general rules that can get me reported?)

It's pretty easy to click fast, and for most games not useful at all.

answer is probably, but, i really doubt that would lead to you to a ban since that input are same with m1 button

the thing usually banned like patterned recoil macros (which has a specific set of pattern + jumpy animation)

anyway, even you use this, which only useful for pistol, you still have to pull a recoil yourself

yea, it's a cheap chinese mouse so I thought the extra button would just be something else I could bind.
if I were to buy a mouse with an alternative firing mode it would have to be a single shot fire to use machine guns as semi-autos easier lmao

I thought csgo had a limit to the amount of clicks so even with a mouse clicker you couldnt exceed?

not entirely correct, but as game logic, u cant fire faster than the gun's ROF (even u spam click legitly)

if its on your mouse, than no, you cannot get banned, if its a program that messes with files then yes you will get banned, my mouse has a program that i can make macros and ive made a click macro not for this game but ive tried it on this game and it works fine.

Theres no way you should be able to get banned with just an autoclicking mouse, also there isn't really any benefit to having this on csgo anymore as the only guns this would have helped with (pistols) have mostly all been changed over the years to now benefit controlled shooting rather than spamming.

Right before the New UI came, my brother bought a macro mouse, it made recoil almost not a thing.

He was to afraid of how effective it was so he junked it.
Better safe than sorry.

I guess I'll just make an alternative steam account and try out Free-Strike: GO to see how cancer the free to play is and to see if I get a ban,
so a new question is, are VAC bans instant or do they take a while to kick in?

That is useless anyways, that would only help the Glock. Even then, it’s max fire rate can be spam clicked.
