Compensation; losing against cheaters?
So I've been playing a lot of cs and a lot of the times I play I queue against cheaters, and that's pretty obvious since it's cs, I mean almost 50% of the community cheat.

The thing is - in my opinion - that when I've lost to a cheater that has got banned, I want some compensation for the loss. Like remove the loss. That's what would be fair.

This makes more sense when it comes to playing WITH cheater and winning. When you've won with cheaters that's got banned, the win gets removed and you lose your rank.

If adding this feature where you get compensated for losses against cheaters, it would be so much better and it would make more sense.

So, even tho you are not getting a compensation directly, it might and probably will result in you ranking up faster after the ban.

Sorry that's a bad idea. It's the same idea that spawns inflation in currency through bailouts. You can't repair a loss without taking the win from the other party or everything will lose its value. Now the other team that got a loss because they had a toxic non-team player who doesn't callout and runs out without any tactics. Why do you think they are hacking in the first place right? They suck. Those players shouldn't lose their elo and you can't have any if they don't lose theirs.
so why would taking the wins away without taking the losses away help...?

how about this: if you abandon a match, and later a guy from the opposing team gets banned for cheats.. the cooldown sholuld be nullified..

dont expect people to play 40 minutes matches against hackers

Exacty you can't repair a loss without taking the win from the other party, that's why it makes no sense when only the winning team get a penalty when the cheater gets banned. The team that lost should get compensated, then there's a balance. The losing team get compensated while the winning get a penalty.

Read the topic answer.

Maybe 50% is to exaggerate, but there are a lot of cheaters. Banned accounts constitute a bigger proportion than clean accounts, because cheaters constantly create new accounts and buy cs to keep cheating.

Just because there are cheaters that doesn't mean that the game is already lost, therefore the cooldown shouldn't be removed if one abandoned the match. Finish the game and you'll be compensated, abandon and you won't.

You've been playing with cheaters if you think it works like that. The winning team gives back the elo they took from the losing team.
you mean mmr*

Actually around 10% of the community cheat, and Valve make around $18 million on cheaters per year. But it's more when taking into account that everytime they get banned they buy new accounts. The source I have is only my memory, a video that I saw a while ago about this.
